Sergeant Kevin Palmatory

Sergeant Palmatory began his employment with the Moberly Police Department in December 1980 as a patrol officer. From 1991 to 1993, he was assigned to the Department’s first Community Oriented Policing (COPS) program, stationed in Allendale Manor. In December 1993 he was promoted to Corporal and transferred to the late night layover shift. In November 1998 he was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to the day shift as a street supervisor.

From January to March 2001 Sergeant Palmatory attended and graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

In December 2002 he was transferred from the day watch supervisor to Public Information Officer, a new position created in the Department. He serves as the first point of contact for the community in addition to being in charge of evidence and training.
